CUSTOM TRAINING SOLUTIONS!
Here at AZ Obedience, we approach every dog as a unique individual. We design a training plan that will suit their needs and your goals. By using a wide variety of techniques, and a lot of patience, we work through behavior problems and teach new skills. Our methods have been proven to provide the most consistent results and easiest techniques for owners to maintain training long term. We are a small business run from home and strictly limit capacity to ensure the best results possible. Large facilities often have special rooms to mimick a home during training sessions, here they are in a real home and learn in real world situations.

I'm adoptable!
My name is Xena (l'm definitely a princess!)
*I bit someone when very scared* Experience required!

Xena came to us completely shut down in fear, we aren't too sure what happened to her but it's safe to say some awful humans got to her before we did. Thankfully she found herself in safe hands and has been learning to trust again! It's a slow process accepting new people but a ball will put a spring in her step and help her know you're a friend. She takes longer to let you pet her and she needs someone who will understand and respect her need to take things slow. Once she warms up and feels safe she's an absolute love and thinks shes a lapdog. Her love for balls is a bit intense and she expects to play fetch in the mornings and evenings, so you need to have a half decent shoulder to keep up with her. She's definitely a very smart girl and understands ball is an outside game so she calms down very well once its time to come back in. She doesn't bark at the doorbell or knocking on the door, she doesnt have separation anxiety or destructive behaviors when left alone. She is truly a sweet princess who has overcome a lot but still has fear in her. She needs a forever home that will show her unconditional love, a lot of gentleness and most importantly, patience. Kitties are friends, tortoises are friends, some dogs are friends. Men are definitely scary but some can be friends with a LOT of patience. Little kids are too much for me at this time.
Requests from Xena~I would love an adult and woman only home, maybe with a gentle dog or kitty friend, but I'd be perfectly happy as your only princess! Please let me observe and learn to trust and get brave at my own pace and prioritize setting me up for success, not putting me in situations I'm not ready for. I do best on high fat/protein food due to my high metabolism and extremely acrobatic fetch style! No chicken please.

WHAT PET OWNERS SAY
"I highly recommend"
Liz was amazing with our girl phoebe! Phoebe is a high energy dog that had trouble following instructions. In just three weeks, Liz had completely transformed phoebe to listen and follow my instructions. They took such great care of our girl, followed up with videos weekly to see her progress. This is the first dog I have ever put through training, and I will do it over and over again with all my future pups!

"Amazing results!"
I have never had a dog that did not pull when being walked. Liz was patient and very kind while at the same time firm in her training. She sent videos of their progress, when we met for transition sessions, she was unhurried and attentive to our dogs and us. If I have future training needs, I will request Liz.
It has been a month since we completed training. The dogs are very receptive to new commands and quick to comply. Love love love this training program!!!

"Definitely recommend"
Liz was the head trainer for our pup and did a phenomenal job. I can honestly say that the three week "doggie boot camp" was money well spent. I have a five year old trying to undue Liz's training but the pup is holding strong.
Overall I can't believe how nice it is to have a dog actually listen to me and the main issues I was concerned about seem to be fixed (walking, jumping, etc.).
